Shake That Ash

Here we go, back at it!

I did refine the legs a lil more after i took this picture. The legs are once again going from flat to round towards the bottom, im really liking this kinda leg...maybe its time for a lathe?

Oiling oiling. Funny how yellow ash turns after an oiling.

On to some fun news. I may have a commission for a rather large Cigar box. Dovetails were out of the question due to time and cost. So im making a "Ferrazzutti box", which is just a veneered box. I'm complicating the build slightly by using bake-ins, as he did not.

Kind of a boring post sorry, but it's been gray and snowy lately. This post reflects my enthusiasm for the winter season.

Words. Is there a story on the off-set cross member in the web-frame?
Ha I don't care if the winter is gray or blindingly bright, it's just too cold for happiness hahaha.

I very much enjoy following you, Nicholas and all the others from Inside Passage. You guy & gals do some of the best woodworking I've ever seen. Keep the posts coming and keep up the good work.
